还+positive adjective

还 when used before a commendatory adjective may indicate that something is acceptable if not truly outstanding. For example,

Please imagine this is your friend. She went shopping today and wants your opinion on the clothes she bought. You don't like her new clothes, but you don't want to hurt her feelings. Please try to be diplomatic and answer her tactfully.
